April Fools?

Hello There,

Just started my new job today. So happy to have this change in my life. Yet, there are Those people that have continually complained, and whined about the way that things are. Including myself three months ago.

Typically, we all find ourselves in areas where we look for external circumstances to help us change. Reflecting on my recent past I can see how my attitude was not one of gratitude, but one of scarcity and fear. I was expecting someone or something to come along and change my life.

It's like my life coach Linda McClean says: "If you don't stand up for something, then you will fall for something else."

It took me getting fired from a good job to realize that I am the master of my own destiny. That the reason why something doesn't happen in my life is not becuase of external factors. But that I did not want it bad enough. Humans alwys fulfill their needs, but are eager to give up on the things that they want.

When I was 16, I was facing a risk of becoming diabetic because of my obesity. Being 5'11" tall and 317lbs did not feel, or look good at all. I realized that I NEEDED to loose weight. Plus, I was tired of the fat jokes, and the dirty looks. Walking in the hall, wondering what people were saying about me. I decided that I NEEDED to change things for myself. Nobody else was going to do it for me. No longer was I going to be the Dog that possessed the energy to yelp because of the nail he was laying on, and not the energy to get up...I no longer wanted things that hurt, but not bad enough to do anything about it....

So I changed.

I left my junior year of high school at 5'11" and 317 lbs....

I Needed to change:

I started running, Morning, at lunch, and after summer football practice.

I started researching the correct foods to eat.

I started reading books about fitness and reading sites about health

I started loosing weight.

I realized my need, and became obsessed with it.

I returned 3 months later to my high school, at 6'1", 215 lbs....Far from the risk of diabetes, and no longer Obese. My life changed in 3 months...I call it the 90 day miracle...

Anything is possible in 90 days....

To your success.

JC
